A few weeks ago we went to Davidson’s Mill Pond Park to take a walk through the woods. On the way to the path going through woods we noticed the cloud formations were very large & impressive. So I shot a series of multi-image cloud panoramas and some single image cloud views with my OM-D Mk1 with a 7.5mm Fisheye lens. Even with a 7.5mm Fisheye lens with a FOV 180 degrees I had to shoot multiple image panoramas to get the cloud formations in the shots. Because I was using a FishEye lens I had to de-fish the images with the Adaptive Wide Angle Filter in Photoshop before being able to blend the images for the panoramas. The Featured Image was a 3 Image Panorama taken with the OM-D 1 with the 7.5mm lens.
Lake Mc_Cormack Multi-Image iphone Panoramas

We went to the Plainsboro Preserve to get in a good walk so I did not take a camera with me. The Preserve had a lot of Fall Color, so I used my iP11 Pro to take a variety of multi-image panorama views during our walk. The Images here were mainly taken with the views going to the path to the Lake & the Lake itself. The Featured Image is a 21 Image panorama using the iP11’s 6mm lens and is 100.5 inches x 13.2 inches and is 340 megs. The iP11’s 6mm lens is equivalent to a ~52mm lens on a Full Frame Digital Camera.

We have quite a few farms where we live now and it is fun to see fields of corn, cows, pigs and other farming activities. Which is strange because there is also lots of corporate buildings and retirement villages also. But it fun to see the mix of all of these together. There is one farm we pass as we are going to a local Preserve to photograph landscapes, dragonflies and birds with a display of tractors on their front lawn. These images were taken with a 14-140mm lens on a Panasonic m43 GH2 @ 140mm. (Full Frame Camera Equivalent 280mm). For this series I used PhotoShop for the Panoramas because I did not want to go uninvited on their Property.

We have not been going to many Parks or Wildlife Refuges lately. Instead we are just taking walks in our community to get exercise. Lately the clouds we see during our walks seem very impressive and massive. In this post I am showing a series of multi-image iPhone panoramas I took during some of these walks. The Featured Image is a 4 image stacked panorama taken with my iP11 Pro with the 6mm lens (Full Frame Equivalent 52mm). The next post will be iPhone multi-image panorama views of the Golf Course.
Panoramas From Plainsboro Preserve

We went to the Plainsboro Preserve a few days ago to get a nice walk and to see if there were some interesting views of McCormack Lake or the Wooded Areas along the trail before the leaves come out and hide the views from the White Trail. I was traveling light with just my Olympus OM-D E-Mk1 with a Panasonic 14-140mm lens to photograph some handheld multi-image panoramas (assembled in Photoshop). Most of the panoramas were taken @ 14mm. The Featured Image is a 9 image panorama @ 14mm. This Post is mainly panorama views with Lake McCormack through the trees bordering Lake McCormack.

It was a nice day to take a walk at a local park and I decided to travel light with mainly just my iPhone 11 Pro & an old Panasonic LX1 Pocket camera. Sometimes it is fun to see what detail you can “pull” out of the files from the older cameras like the Panasonic LX1 Digital Camera. With Photoshop you can really get some amazing images from the older cameras. The images posted here are all Multi-Image Panoramas (assembled in Photoshop) from the Panasonic LX1 & the iPhone 11 Pro. The Featured Image was a 4 image Panorama taken with the Panasonic LX1, 6.3mm lens

Bombay Hook NWR Cloudscape Panorama

I was cleaning up backup Drives and found this panorama taken years ago at the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware. The panorama is made with 6 handheld horizontal images taken with a Canon 1D mkIII with a 24-105mm lens @24mm. Images were aligned & blended in Photoshop. I had previously posted a narrower 4 image version of this years ago, but liked this longer version I found and blended to show more of the landscape on the edges. This image was taken by one of the fields near the entrance to the Refuge. Once in the refuge the clouds were great also as we were traveling the Wildlife Drive.
Brigantine Multi-Image Panoramas, Set 1

On our visit to the Brigantine Division of the Edwin B. Forsythe NWR I was using a variety of cameras to make a series of multi-image panoramas. I shot a lot of images so I would have a “library” of images to use for posting here during the Winter months. I was using the following cameras – Canon R with a 150-600mm lens, Panasonic LX-1 Pocket Camera in 16×9 format, OM-D 1 Olympus with a 7.5mm Fisheye lens and a iPhone 11 Pro. For this post all images were with the iPhone 11 Pro with mostly the 1.5mm lens (Full Frame Field of View Equivalent ~ 13mm) & the 4.3mm lens (Full Frame Field of View Equivalent ~ 26mm). The Featured Image was taken early in the am before the Wildlife Drive got crowded. I used my iPhone 11 with the 4.3mm lens to take a series of 12 overlapping images for the panorama image.
Pine cones – 40 Image Panorama

Here in New Jersey we got about 9 inches of snow from the Snow Storm over the weekend. I was looking at the neighbor’s Pine Tree across from us and thought it looked interesting. So I got a camera and was going to photograph some snow covered Pinecones. But then I thought it would make an interesting Multi-image, Multi-row Panorama. The Featured image is a series of 40 handheld images shot with a 150mm macro lens on a Canon R.
