River Otters At Lake Woodruff NWR

We also saw quite a few River Otters swimming in the channels at Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge in DeLand, Florida. They are always fun to watch as they  interact & swim with each other. They seemed to be out more in the morning and fewer  in the afternoon. These were taken in the morning with strong lighting from behind so I had to open up the shadows on the Otters. Luckily I was using a Canon R with a 300mm lens. The Canon R has much cleaner details, especially in the shadows, so it worked out well when opening up the shadow detail from the strong backlighting.

    • Thanks Belinda! They are fun to watch interacting with each other. It was hard to get all 3 in one shot! Usually 1 or 2 would be under water!
