Another in my series of panorama images from some of my favorite places to photograph. This is a panorama made from 3 handheld shots. I was using a 24mm – 105mm zoom lens @ 24mm and assembled the pano in Photoshop. I generally like doing wide landscapes as multi- image panoramas. If I use a wider lens (12mm), I sometimes get too much foreground and sky and loose some detail in the main areas I want to feature. Also they are fun to do! Plus the more you do, the higher rate of success the panorama will turn out the way you want. It takes practice so you know how many images to photograph for the handheld pano. Also how much overlap for the focal length lens you are using. It is a handy technique to use when you are out and see an interesting wide shot but cannot get the scene in with the lens you have with you. Plus they are fun to do!

Thanks again! The panoramas are fun to do! Helps when they are colorful & interesting. The cloud formations help also!
