Thanks Belinda! Hope you had a Great Thanksgiving! Actually they were the dinner variety for the Red foxes in our community! They used to all over, but the foxes dwindled them down significantly!
Silly me, I had no idea turkeys could fly until about ten years ago when one flew across dual highway Rt 301 in Maryland right in front of my car. They don’t get very far off the ground but they do indeed fly! I was shocked….and had wished I had caught it on camera. 😉
Nice photos, Reed! Happy Thanksgiving. I take it they’re not the dinner variety turkeys😏.

Thanks Reed. I had never thought of them as prey for foxes. Well, foxes have to eat too I guess.
Happy Thanksgiving, Reed.
Thanks Steve! Hope you had a Great Thanksgiving Also.
Aren’t they magnificent birds!
Yes! And they are LARGE Birds!
Yes, they are; smart, too. Glad they aren’t aggressive, lol!
Beautiful, Reed! Their iridescence is gorgeous!
Thanks Donna! They are fun to photograph! A big subject and fairly slow moving! Unless they are flying!
