We went to Plainsboro Preserve looking for Dragonflies. I found these Lancet Dragonflies towards the end of one of the main paths. One was on a small plant while the other was on the ground, maybe because it was warmer there. Many times when we go early you see them on the warm ground in the sunlight as in the images below. Or maybe they are safer there, blending somewhat with the background. All images shot with a 300mm lens with a 1.4x teleconverter
