Birds At Sunset

Some birds seem to just find a tree or perch in the evening and just settle down. Others you see along the waters edge, maybe looking for a late meal. These are also shot at the same time as the previous sunset shots.

Thanks! At the end of a long day of photography, it is fun to see what else you can find when it seems everyone else has left. At some NWRs that have a Wildlife Drive you can stay late as long as you are near the end of the drive and do not try to renter.

Thanks! I usually do not stay till sundown because it is a 4 hour drive home. But sometimes it is worth staying.
